The platform is designed to consider product identity, NOM and distillery information, production methods, flavor characteristics, additive-related evidence, and pricing and value information.

Our approach to data

TequilaQA is being designed to distinguish between information from documented sources, producer statements, third-party evidence, and information that has not yet been sufficiently verified.

Evidence and transparency

Our goal is to make important product information understandable while preserving information about where material claims come from. When evidence is incomplete or unavailable, TequilaQA is being designed to communicate that uncertainty rather than present an unsupported conclusion.

Scores and recommendations

TequilaQA’s scoring and recommendation methodology is still under development. We will publish additional methodology information as those systems are finalized and validated. No score formula is represented on this pre-launch website as final.
